TUNING INTO TEENS

Free Parent/Carers Group

This is a six-session parenting program for parents / caregivers of pre-teens and teens.

You will learn to:

Understand your teen/pre-teen
Help your teen/pre-teen manage their emotions
Help prevent behavioral problems
Assist them in handling conflict
Assist in conversing and connecting with your teen/pre-teen

Tuning into teens shows you how to help your teen develop emotional intelligence. Teens who understand their emotions:

have greater success with making and keeping friends
are able to concentrate easier at school
are more able to calm down when angry or upset

Emotional intelligence is a better predictor of academic and career success than IQ!
