The headspace Frankston and headspace Rosebud Youth Reference Group provides young people with the opportunity to be heard and be active around youth mental health and wellbeing issues.
The Youth Reference Group (YRG) is made up of young people aged 16-25 who are passionate about youth issues, and provides them with the opportunity to have meaningful input in the strategic direction of headspace services in Frankston, Rosebud and the Peninsula area.
The input of local young people is crucial in keeping headspace Frankston and Rosebud relevant to the 12-25 year olds it services. YRG members will be involved in regular meetings with the centres and help make decisions on things such as community engagement, communications and health promotion.
The YRG is a great way for young people to develop new skills, meet and work with a diverse range of other young people, and make a difference for young people in the Frankston and Peninsula region.
