How to report cyberbullying
Keep everything that is sent to you with screenshots, whether they’re nasty comments, pictures or messages – try to get a permanent copy of it. This is so you can show these to someone you trust later on.
Report any bullying to the site where it is occurring. All social media platforms have a reporting system. It’s anonymous, straightforward and depending on what you’ve reported, there’s a chance it could get taken down quickly. If after 48 hours the image or content has not been removed by the site, or if you’re feeling afraid or threatened, make a report to the eSafety Commissioner.
