The Regional Youth Mental Health Forum is just around the corner!!

 

This inaugural event is taking place to encourage young people in the community to increase their understanding of mental health and the support networks that are available to them. It will equip young people with the necessary skills to become “mental health ambassadors”, subsequently expanding and raising awareness amongst their peers.

The day’s free program will consist of mental health information workshops facilitated by local organisations and LIVIN. Gold Coast organisation LIVIN has recently rolled out a mental health stigma reduction and motivational program within a number of schools called the LIVINWELL program.
