What the 2016 Youth Reference Group members said:

‘I am immensely grateful for having had the opportunity to serve on the headspace Bondi Junction Youth Reference Group. The experience of advocating for the youth of the Eastern Suburbs alongside like-minded, highly intelligent and driven individuals has been personally and professionally enriching.’  Adry

'It's one thing to be involved in your school, TAFE or university community, but it's something different altogether to step out into a bigger picture that blends all of these communities (and more!) together. No matter whether your passion is increasing access to mental health services for young people, event organisation, puppies, using physical activity to keep your mental health in check, social media and advertising, public speaking and engagement or even just hanging around with a bunch of *really inspiring* young people from a huge diversity of backgrounds, I promise that you'll find this role empowering.'  Emma
